Our Story

BoxUp was founded in 2008 by Robert Anderson, a third-generation paper industry professional who saw an opportunity to bring modern manufacturing techniques and customer-centric service to the custom packaging market.

Starting with a 15,000 sq ft facility and just 8 employees, we focused on serving small and medium businesses that were often overlooked by larger packaging companies. Our commitment to low minimum orders, fast turnaround, and exceptional quality quickly earned us a loyal customer base.

Today, BoxUp operates from an 85,000 sq ft state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Terre Haute, Indiana. Our team of 85 dedicated employees serves over 2,000 active clients across 48 states, producing more than 50 million custom boxes annually.

Moved to current 85,000 sq ft facility with Heidelberg printing press and automated die-cutting equipment. Team grows to 60 employees.

Solar Installation

350kW rooftop solar array installed, generating 40% of facility electricity. Transition to 100% renewable energy completed.

2024

Zero Waste Certification

Achieved zero waste to landfill certification. Served 2,000th active client. 50 millionth box milestone reached.
